Presenting two youth-written plays Poems by Denise Thomas – “We Have to Make a Change” Stop/Frisk by Rich Rubin, The Last Hurricane by Renee Darline Rodin, Showtime by Kareem Nemley, Starbucks at the End of the World by Adam Mace, Charlottesville by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj

The WeFest is built around inclusion and the rich diversity of Brooklyn, New York. The Festival will present Staged Readings of new political plays from NY-based playwrights. The event will also

 honor Cultural, Artistic and Political Activist Icon, Harry Belafonte in recognition for his trailblazing efforts in Civil Rights and the Arts.
