oct membership mtgTen Brooklyn New York City Council districts are participating in Participatory Budgeting (PB) in which Council Members ask residents to decide how to invest public funds in their neighborhoods.

Join Brooklyn NAACP to learn more about the NYC Budget and the Participatory Budgeting process.

Through Participatory Budgeting, community members decide how to spend at least $1,000,000 of the public budget in their participating Council District. To learn more about Participatory Budgeting, plan to join us at the October General Membership meeting and click here for a short video.
