Branch president to moderate Black History event

Our Branch President, L. Joy Williams will moderate a Black History Month event sponsored by Assemblyman Walter T. Mosley and the Simon Wiesenthal Center at the Brooklyn Public Library on Monday, February 29th at 6PM.

The event features a screening of the film Rosenwald which tells the story of Julius Rosenwald's philanthropy and commitment to improving education for African-American children in the south with the establishment of Rosenwald schools in the early 20th century.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion. The event is FREE and open to the public.
