NIKIA WAY - LEGAL REDRESS CHAIRPERSON

Ms. Way earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University in 1995, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University 's Beasley School of Law in 2002. Ms. Way also earned a Master of Laws degree in trial advocacy from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2007.
After completing her Juris Doctor from Temple University, Ms. Way worked as an associate attorney at two mid – sized insurance defense law firms where she practiced complex product liability defense , mass tort defense and personal injury defense .

After practicing in those areas for over five years, Ms. Way made the quality decision to dedicate her practice to advocating for the constitutional rights of persons accused of criminal offenses . Ms. Way has represented numerous clients in State Courts and Federal Courts.

In 2007 Ms. Way founded Way & Associates . The Firm has allowed Ms. Way to fully realize her passion for aggressively advocating for the rights of people involved in the criminal judicial process. In 2009, Ms. Way joined forces with Camelia Shaw, of Shaw & Associates, to create the Law Firm of Way & Associates, P.C.
Ms. Way is an aggressive litigator, and she works hard to achieve the best outcome for her clients.
Ms. Way is active in a number of professional organizations including the Brooklyn Bar Association , American Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, New York State Bar, the Philadelphia Bar Association , Brooklyn NAACP , and the Brooklyn Pop Warner Athletic Association.
Ms. Way is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania .
