Mark Pollard, Esq. has been admitted as a member of the New York State Bar for over 20 years. He is also an Assistant Professor at Medgar Evers College at the City University of New York where he coordinates and teaches the criminal justice concentration. As a practicing attorney Pollard has held numerous positions in government while also being a law partner in the criminal defense firm that he founded. Pollard has served as a supervising Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, General
Counsel for Assemblyman Albert Vann, General Counsel for the New York State Black and Puerto Rican Legislative Caucus, General Counsel for the New York City Board of Elections, and General Counsel for State Senator Carl Andrews. He is also a founding member of the Greater New York
Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, Pollard has held many volunteer community leadership positions such as his present appointment as the chair of the Brooklyn N.A.A.C.P.'s Criminal Justice Committee. He is also an active member of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association. As a man who was born, raised and presently resides in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn Pollard takes great pride in finding time
to teach and inspire our youth. He stresses the importance of community leadership, work ethic, and education. .
